These metro Atlanta communities are some of the best places to live in America

A new study by Niche ranks metro Atlanta and north Georgia among the best places to live in the U.S., with three communities in the top 10. Atlantic Station is the second-best, noted for its schools, diversity, and family life. Midtown Atlanta ranks eighth, excelling in nightlife and family life but scoring lower in housing and cost of living. Johns Creek also makes the list, praised for its schools but receiving average grades for crime and cost of living. The only area ranked higher is Colonial Village in Arlington, Va.
